Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation ((アラビア語:مؤسسة خلف أحمد الحبتور للأعمال الخيرية)) was launched in January 2013 by Khalaf Al Habtoor, Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group with the mission to improve the lives of people in need within the UAE, in addition to providing aid abroad. Twenty per cent of Al Habtoor Group shares have been allocated for the Foundation.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Al Habtoor foundation outlines mission for UAE | GulfNews.com )〕 The UAE-based charitable organization has its headquarters based at the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque and Centre, Al Safa, Jumeirah. The charitable activities include support for education and scientific research, promoting sports and providing assistance and grants to researchers and scholars. The Foundation’s operations have close partnership with the Red Crescent Society of the United Arab Emirates (UAE Red Crescent).
